Game Play E-mail

XPX has several different games that can be played on each field.  Our Themepark for Paintball's unique terrain and field-specific features make each game play differently.  CTF in Wasteland is completely different from CTF in the Port of No Return.  You may play the same field more than once but your Xperience will be completely different.

There are games designed for just the fun of shooting at each other and, from a team building perspective, there are several games that require planning, proper execution of that plan and constant communication between team members to be successful and achieve your mission’s objectives:

VIP Escort
A VIP player is selected/volunteered and clearly marked for all players to identify during the game.  Players are divided into either the Escort or Ambush Squads and given a start point and destination point.  The Escort Squad's objective will be to escort the VIP from the designated start point to the destination point.  The Ambush Squad will start at the destination point and will attempt to assassinate the VIP before he reaches his destination.
CTF (Capture the Flag)
Each team will start at separate locations on the field, preferably at "bases".  Located at each individual team's starting position will be a flag or objective available for capture by the opposing team.  The objective of the game is to capture your opposing team's flag or objective and return it to your team's starting location, or "base".  The first team to successfully return their enemy's flag back to their "base" within the allotted game time will be declared the winner.
POW
Players are divided into a two separate teams, a Rescue Team and a Guard Team.  A number of POWs are to be selected from the Rescue Team and given to the Guard Team to be held in a location of their (the Guards) choosing.  POWs must keep their barrel bags on and cannot perform in combat until they are rescued by their fellow team members, who we will assume "brought them their guns".  After a POW is tagged by a member of the Rescue Team, that player may remove his/her barrel bag and engage in combat.  The objective of the game for the Rescue Team is to return as many live hostages back to their starting point as possible before game time has expired.  The objective of the Guard Team is to keep as many of their captive POWs from being rescued as possible.
Bank Heist
Players are divided into two separate teams, a "Cops" team and a "Robbers" team.  The Cops are provided a fortified position or base to guard and the Robbers are provided a separate, distant starting point.  Inside the Cop's base will be the "objective", usually a money bag or stack of cash, which the Robbers are trying to steal and return to their start point.  The Cops must remain within their defense positions until the objective is stolen, at which time they can leave "in pursuit" of the Robbers in an attempt to recover the objective before the Robbers can return it to their starting position.
Football
Players are divided into two separate teams and will start on opposite ends of the field.  Before the game is started, a coin toss to decide who begins the game in possession of the football will be made.  The team that loses the coin toss will decide which side of the field they would like to start from.  At game start, the objective of the game is to drive the football to your opposing team's starting position while keeping them from attempting to do the same.  If a player is eliminated while carrying the football, that player is to drop the ball where they were eliminated.  If the ball is dropped, it may be picked up by any player on the field.  The team to drive the ball completely across the field will be declared the winner.
Freeze Tag
Players are divided into teams and each provided their own starting point on the field.  During the game when a player is eliminated, they must remain where they were eliminated and sit down with their gun held up in the air to signify they are hit.  A team member may “revive” a hit teammate by physically tagging that player back into the game.  If a hit player is tagged by an opposing team member however, that player is eliminated from the game and cannot be "revived" by a teammate.  The team with the most players left on the field at the end of the game time will be declared the winner.
Bunny Hunt
Players are divided into two separate teams, a "Bunny" team and a "Hunters" team.  The Bunny team must always be strongly outnumbered by the Hunters team.  The Bunny team is provided with a two-minute head-start onto the field with which to hide, after which the Hunters team is released onto the field and tasked with hunting down the Bunny team and eliminating them.  The Bunny team will be victorious only if they can remain alive for the entire set duration of the game.
